Authenticity of Kalimah Tayyibah – Where is it found in the Qur’aan & Ahadith?

Asalm e aliqam. this kalma (la a la ha allal la mohammad dr rusol lallah) is not found in Quran or Haidas but it is found only in Zayeef hadias and nowhere recite sahaba or aima to this kalma in all life . According to Quran or suna kalma is like as ( la e la ha allal la) or as (ashado in la elaha allal la wa asha do an la muhammad don abo ho wa rusool ho) so we Muslims recite to those kalma which is according to Quran or hadias or sunset e nabvi . otherwise if we follow unathantic hadias or blind faith then we are doing sirek and we are disbeliever So it is massage to all Muslims to recite kalma, salah and azaan according to sunset e nabvi . Jazakallah

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh. You state the Kalimah لا اله الا الله محمد رسول الله is not found in the Quran or Hadith. This is incorrect. Consider the following Ahadith. قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ” بُنِيَ الإِسْلاَمُ عَلَى خَمْسٍ: شَهَادَةِ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ، وَإِقَامِ الصَّلاَةِ، وَإِيتَاءِ الزَّكَاةِ، وَالحَجِّ، وَصَوْمِ رَمَضَانَ (بخاري، ٨) Translation: Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said: Islam is based on (the following) five (principles):1. To testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and Muhammad is Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ).2. To offer the (compulsory congregational) prayers dutifully and perfectly.3. To pay Zakat (i.e. obligatory charity).4. To perform Hajj. (i.e. Pilgrimage to Mecca)5. To observe fast during the month of Ramadan. (Bukhari, 8) عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أُقَاتِلَ النَّاسَ حَتَّى يَشْهَدُوا أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ، وَيُقِيمُوا الصَّلاَةَ، وَيُؤْتُوا الزَّكَاةَ، فَإِذَا فَعَلُوا ذَلِكَ عَصَمُوا مِنِّي دِمَاءَهُمْ وَأَمْوَالَهُمْ إِلَّا بِحَقِّ الإِسْلاَمِ، وَحِسَابُهُمْ عَلَى اللَّهِ (يخاري، ٢٥/مسلم، ٣٦)» Translation: Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said: “I have been ordered (by Allah) to fight against the people until they testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and that Muhammad is Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ), and offer the prayers perfectly and give the obligatory charity, so if they perform that, then they save their lives and property from me except for Islamic laws and then their reckoning (accounts) will be done by Allah.”(Bukhari, 25/Muslim, 36) عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ” إِذَا أُقْعِدَ المُؤْمِنُ فِي قَبْرِهِ أُتِيَ، ثُمَّ شَهِدَ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ، فَذَلِكَ قَوْلُهُ: {يُثَبِّتُ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِالقَوْلِ الثَّابِتِ} [إبراهيم: 27] (بخاري، ١٣٦٩) Translation: Al-Bara’ bin ‘Azib Narrated:Translation: The Prophet (p.b.u.h) said, “When a faithful believer is made to sit in his grave, then (the angels) come to him and he testifies that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and Muhammad is Allah’s Apostle. And that corresponds to Allah’s statement: Allah will keep firm those who believe with the word that stands firm . . . (14.27). (Bukhari, 1369) عَنْ قَيْسٍ، سَمِعْتُ جَرِيرًا رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، يَقُولُ: «بَايَعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى شَهَادَةِ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ، وَإِقَامِ الصَّلاَةِ، وَإِيتَاءِ الزَّكَاةِ، وَالسَّمْعِ وَالطَّاعَةِ، وَالنُّصْحِ لِكُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ (بخاري، ٢١٥٧)» Translation: Jarir Narrated:I have given a pledge of allegiance to Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) for to testify that None has the right to be worshipped but Allah, and Muhammad is His Apostle, to offer prayers perfectly, to pay Zakat, to listen to and obey (Allah’s and His Prophet’s orders), and to give good advice to every Muslim. (Bukhari, 2157) سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ: «مَنْ شَهِدَ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ، وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللهِ، حَرَّمَ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ النَّارَ (مسلم، ٤٧) Translation: It is narrated on the authority of Sunabihi that he went to Ubada b. Samit when he was about to die. He said to me:I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: He who testifies that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah, Allah would prohibit the fire of Hell for him. (Muslim, 47) There are many more similar narrations. There are two basic aspects to Iman.
Shahadah (Belief in the Oneness of Allah)
Risalah (Belief in the prophethood of Muhammad (Sallalahu Alaihi Wasallam)

The Ahadith in which لا اله الا الله محمد رسول الله ,both are stated, are in the context of Iman, hence both issues, Shahadah and Risalah, are mentioned.

If one wishes to make Zikr, then لا اله الا الله محمد رسول الله should be recited and not محمد رسول الله. Zikr is meant to glorify Allah which is in لا اله الا الله. Consider the following narration.
جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، رضى الله عنهما يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ أَفْضَلُ الذِّكْرِ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَأَفْضَلُ الدُّعَاءِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ(ترمذي، ٣٣٨٢) Translation: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “The best remembrance is: there is none worthy of worship except Allah (Lā ilāha illallāh) and the best supplication is: All praise is due to Allah (Al-ḥamdulillāh).
